bookmark_borderHigh Positive Feedback Score Essentials – When Selling On eBay

When Selling on eBay, a “High Positive Feedback Score” is very important when Buyers are looking at your Sellers Profile.  They want to make sure that you are a reliable Seller.  When you are Buying, a “High Positive Feedback Score” is a bit less important to Sellers, because most of the time, the item is already paid for.  The most importance comes when it’s a Auction.

At this point, Having a “High Positive Feedback Score” will make the Sellers feel a lot more relaxed when you are bidding on their Listings.  Rookie Bidders often misread, misunderstand or are to quick and anxious to bid on an item, because all they can see is the price.  This is where most of the complaints and returns stem from.  So, by Sellers knowing that you have at least some experience, we become much more at ease.

What Do Your Customers Want

Customers want SATISFACTION!  They want to feel like YOU are the Seller that can give that to them!  They want “FAST EXCELLENT COMMUNICATIONS“, and if it’s me, the most important things that I want, is to get what was DESCRIBED as PROMISED in the Description.  You never really know why someone ordered an item, nor will you care for very long.  The Buyers are the same.  Pretty much, as long as they get what was described for the price they paid, they can care less, who the Seller is.

Taking Positive Feedback to a Whole New Level

With experience and over time, your Positive Feedback Score is surely to increase with each sale.  First, I want to give you some tips about how you can keep that going and then I’ll let you know about, what I think is the easiest way to build a High Positive Feedback on eBay, especially for Beginners.  The following is a simplified listing of some of the things that you can do to keep your Positive Feedback climbing.  I’ll go into detail later in another Article about these things individually, but for now…here we go!

  • You should have a good Description
  • You should have a good Return Policy
  • You should have a good Line of Communication
  • You should have good Photos/Pictures
  • You should answer all email/questions as soon as you see them
  • You should point out any Flaws that the item(s) may have
  • You should Test all Used/Opened items
  • You should ABSOLUTELY TEST any Used/Opened;  Electrical or Electronic Items, Inflatable Items, Baby/Child/ Kid Items
  • You should use PayPal for all of your listings
  • You should strive for Fast Free Shipping
  • You should use Free Flat Rate Priority Shipping Boxes from the USPS
  • Pack items you ship in the manner of how you would like to receive a package
  • In a dispute, let your Buyer know that you want to “Avoid Negative Feedback” and that you value them as a Customer, learn how to settle
  • Don’t argue with Customers, learn how to settle
  • Stay relaxed, take deep breaths and Ask for Positive Feedback,  learn how to settle
  • Learn how to Settle, even if it means letting them keep the item and still give them a Full or Partial Refund

The Easiest way to Build a High Positive Feedback Score, especially for Beginners

Okay, I want to talk to the “Newbie” with a ZERO FEEDBACK SCORE.   Here’s what you do.  Firstly, make sure you have a PayPal Account and have connected it with eBay, (In case anyone didn’t know, eBay owns PayPal).  When you are a Buyer on eBay, more than likely, you will pay for your purchase with any funds that are left in your PayPal Account.  If no funds are available, they will be taken from the Bank Account that you have associated with your PayPal Account.  Anyway, with this method, you will only need to spend $1-$3, and you should have more than a 100 Positive Feedback Score.  It’s nothing illegal or immoral because you will be buying products form other eBay Sellers.

Here’s how The Positive Feedback Method works

Step 1 – Click on the Arrow in the All Categories Box that’s next to the Blue Search Button on the eBay Home Screen High Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBay Step 2 – Scroll down to the bottom of that list and click on “Everything Else” and then click “SearchHigh Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBay Step 3 – While on that page, scroll down until you see the “Sort” Box High Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBay Step 4 – From that Drop Down List, select “Lowest Price + ShippingHigh Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBay Step 5 –  You’re going to be making purchases from these Listings that say: $0.01 cent, Free Shipping High Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBay Here’s are some examples: High Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBayHigh Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBayHigh Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBayHigh Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBayHigh Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBayHigh Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBay Basically, if you can win 100 Auctions with Free Shipping, and only have to pay $0.01 Cent each, then it will only costs you $1 Dollar.  These Sellers know that as well and they would be happy to leave you the Positive Feedback, so you should do the same for them.  Some people will go ahead and bid on the same Listing (I don’t know why, because another one will be ending soon anyways) and if that happens, their Bid would be .06 Cents and the third Bid would be .11 Cents.

So, If you happened to be the 3rd Bidder of 10 Auctions and won them all, your costs would be $1.10, so I would really try and shoot for that 100 Auctions for $1.00.  It’s really up to you.  I wouldn’t dwell over any particular item because your goal is to get Positive Feedback anyway.  Therefore, I would try and find different Sellers or order from the same Seller the next day.  Why?  Because now, they will not combine the Auctions, therefore, you’ll get another Positive Feedback instead of combining them into one.

What Kind of Items are Available

Within this Category, you’ll find all kinds of stuff, some are even weird.  But you’ll definitely find all kinds of:

  • eBooks
  • Recipes
  • Crystals
  • Hairnets
  • Jewelry
  • and so much more.

All you have to do is be the first one to Bid and most people will just move on to the next Listing.  Some people call this an eBay Hack, but hey, It’s a Listing, that you bid on, and you won.  So it’s LEGIT!

Step 6 – When Bidding (it’s entirely a preference) try to find Sellers who are offering “Private Listings”.  This means that when you receive Positive Feedback from them, others who view your Profile will not be able to see the Actual Item purchased nor will they see how much you paid for it. High Positive Feedback Score Essentials- When Selling On eBay Notice how in the Picture above, that this Member only has a 27 Positive Feedback Score.  This is a New Member with all Private Listings.  It doesn’t appear that this person is following my Methods, however, they’re getting the job done…slowly but surely. My Final Thought.

You can make ALL of your Feedback “Private”, by doing the following. (I will not make screenshots as eBay is always changing the location of where they place some of the Links and Pages).

  • In 2018, (you can do this from any eBay Page), scroll down to the Bottom and Click on “Site Map“.  It’s located under the Heading “Tools & Apps“.
  • Once on the Site Map Page, scroll down past all of the Categories until you see the Heading “Community“.  Within that Sub-Heading, you’ll see another Sub-Heading called Feedback.  Now under “Feedback“, click on the Link that says “Make Feedback Public or Private“.
