Who am I to think that I can write a Blog, and why should you read it
Well, that’s a question I really need to answer. I didn’t think about those questions when I first started to write this Blog. Now, after about 15 minutes or so. I’ve come to the conclusion that the best answer for me to give to you right now is…. I don’t know.
Let me explain. Sure, I can blurt out some answer that I think will satisfy you. Some “Fake Answer” that will keep things moving right along. But I’m not gonna do that. I want to be as truthful as I can be. Actually, I could also “Stop”, and think about it for some time more, but you know what… I don’t want to…. and here’s why.
It’s not fair to you nor to myself because my mind is bursting right now, and my fingers are not stopping. I have so many thoughts going through my head right now and I know the “Real” answers are coming soon. At least the best possible ones for the moment. You see, this Blog was supposed to be about me, and before I even started writing, I started thinking about you Guys… the Readers… Am I supposed to be writing for you or for myself? Well, apart from whatever the correct answer might be, I’ll gonna be writing for me, with you in mind. You’ll understand when you start reading my posts.
This is my first Blog, and I’m not sure that I know what I’m doing. I know that I can edit this at any time, and try to make it sound as perfect as can be, but instead, I’ll try my best to keep it “Organic” and not change my thought pattern during this editing stage. What I do know, is what I want to be, and that is open, honest and truthful, as well as, INSPIRING!
Now let me try to answer those questions in a more direct way. I’ll start by trying to answer the second part of the title first. The reason that I think you should read my Blog is because it’s not gonna be just about one subject, like most successful Bloggers say to do (once again, I’m going against what the “Experts” say to do).
What I mean by that, is this.. I have many different subjects that I can speak on. Subjects that I’m 100% sure you’ll be interested in. I know you’ll be interested because you’re still reading, and I haven’t even scratched the surface. At the end of this post, I’ll list some of the topics that I’ll be speaking on, or writing about. These will be topics based on some training that I’ve had or from personal experience or I’ll just be revealing some good ol’ information that may help you…or someone else..
My ultimate goal for this Blog will be “To Inspire”…. and of course, make some extra money in the process. The money part will come via Sponsors or companies that I have an affiliation with. They may advertise through some Banners that I may have on my pages or through some of the links throughout this Blog.
If you were to click on some of these items, and engage with these Sponsors, then I may make a few bucks. Whatever the case may be, I promise to continue to deliver the best information that I can possibly bring to the table. See, open and transparent!
Who am I? Well, I’m just a guy who is tired. Tired of the same ol’ 9 to 5 (which I am grateful for and appreciate having), and also tired of chasing “DOLLARS“!
You see, at the time of this writing, I’m 52 years old, and I’ve been chasing the dollar since I was about 16. That’s a helluva long time. I’ve, for the most part, have never been without a job. Subtracting that episode in my life where I was basically jobless and essentially homeless. If not for some friends and family helping me out by letting me have a place to lay my head, even if it was on the floor, I don’t know where I’d be today. Thank you guys for keeping my head up! 😂
Anyway, for most of my life I have been blessed to have a J. O. B.. Even still, I would always have a “Side Hustle”. It actually started way back “BEFORE” I was 16. Along with my Brothers and others, we used to call ourselves “Bottle Hustlers”. We used to go everywhere and pick up bottles to turn in for recycling. We used that money to buy things like:
- Movie Tickets
- Skates
- Skateboards
- Bikes (these were our vehicles)
- Food.
We then started buying Cookie and Cracker Snack Packs or put them into Zip-Lock Plastic Bags, and sell them at school. That’s the best as I can recall. I now remember that we actually started doing this because we needed lots and lots of quarters for the “ARCADE”.
Let me get back on track. Now, over the years, I have been fortunate enough to learn and study a vast array of subjects, and I am NOT, by any means, a master of any….except procrastination and giving up (Those are easy). I used to say that I was a “Jack of all Trades” although technically not. However, I’ve come to the conclusion that the little that I can offer, just may be what “YES” that you were looking for, this is what has INSPIRED ME to start this Blog.
I do currently have several YouTube Channels that I haven’t touched in a couple of years, I think. About 90% or more of the posted videos are of me explaining “How To” do something, Step-by-Step. So now, I’m just transferring that thinking into this Blog. I still, today, get positive comments, questions and subscribers. Sometimes I feel bad because I haven’t responded to them in quite some time. I’ll let them know about this Blog.
I’ve been an eBay PowerSeller a couple of times selling in different Niches…maybe 3 times. I still have an eBay Store today with between 50 and 100 items listed. I’m not sure right now because I’ve been focusing on my Ecommerce Store and building the Website and filling it with products and running ads. Recently, I put my design skills in to use by making designs for T-Shirts, Mugs, Hats, Cell Phone Cases, yada yada yada.
I’ve turned my (very very small) Real Estate Investing Business into a Corporation. Jumped through all of the hoops, had all of my Ducks in a row and was doing my thing. Until, one day, I did nothing. That turned into 2 days. Then turned into a Week, then a Month and then 3 Months.
How can I become successful with any business, and do ABSOLUTELY nothing with it for 3 Months. The correct answer is… I won’t! The sad thing is, is that I knew that I wasn’t doing anything. No phone calls, no appointments, no continued learning about the investing side of real estate, no nothin’!
I told everyone about my new business. I passed out business cards to a lot of people and told close family and friends about my plans, goals, methods and dreams. Then Turned around and STOPPED!
I started feeling anxiety. My wife tells me that I was doing too much at once and that I just need to focus on one thing. But how could I? I was, tired of working 11-15 hours a day, 5 days a week. Taking care of the family no doubt, but also tired of being fuckin’ grumpy everyday (just ask my kids).
So when I got home it was eBay, Website, planned on calling a Seller about a piece of property that I found while on my lunch break, eat, sleep. The next day it was Website, thinking about a call, eBay, no food, falling asleep, late for work. You get the idea. This just went on and on and on. Every work day was like this. Then on my days off…….nothing changed. S ame ol’ routine. This was my life, and now and then, I would squeeze in “Family Time”.
I feel like, my whole life, I’ve just been chasing my tail, going round and round in circles. Yeah, I kept busy. Busy doing nothing. Busy doing the things that I was comfortable with and going nowhere fast…or slow either for that matter.
Listen, I have so much to offer you. I just don’t know where to start. I feel like I’m writing a book, whilst this is just only gonna be posted on my “About Me” page. Before I even made my first post, I started on this “About Me” page, and I should’ve taken a screenshot of the original draft. OMG… It must’ve been 12 pages long.
The experts say the this page should only be a couple of paragraphs TOPS! Oh well, I blew that one. I’m writing this page in this way, because it’s “About Me”….. If you want to know me and follow me, then you must know “About Me”. So these are just some of the things that I want you to know!
Let me go ahead and try to end this. At this time, I’ll just list some of the things that I’ve been involved with over the years, that pertains to this Blog. This will be my short list.

- Photography (Studied Film Development, Black and White Photography, Architectural Photography, Portrait Photography, Fashion Photography… that’s enough)

- Credit ( Credit Law, Credit Repair, Credit Improvement, Fair Credit Reporting, Credit Collections, Fair Credit Reporting Act and Disclosures, Credit Cards, Credit Score, ect.)
- Forex Trading (Purchased many many Systems, created 10 of my own, MT4 Platform, Chart Formations, Indicators, Candlestick Patterns, ect.)
- Website Building (Built more than a few…for personal use only)
- eBay (First Membership was about 1999, Powerseller 2-3 Times, Quit a couple of times, Multiple Stores and ID’s. I remember when we used to get Checks, Money Orders and Cash in the Mail…This was before Paypal)
- Mail-Order
- Dropshipping
- And a few others.
I remember when I used to sell Sunglasses on the street corner and hanging out at Los Angeles City College and hustling these things there. Selling on the corner of 3rd street and Vermont, in Los Angeles, is where I was most of the time.
I remember when my wife and I were hustling “Rechargeable Phone Cards” when they became popular in the mid 90’s. Man, we really tried to make money with this. We thought that our “Quick Residual Income” was gonna be in Phone Cards.
Everytime someone would use them, we would make a commission. Recharge or Refill the Card with Minutes, and we would make more commission.
We literally could not give these things away, not even for free! At that time, most Phone Cards were charging between .25 Cents and .50 Cents per minute (if I’m not mistaken), and they were “Not Rechargeable“. Our Cards were only 19 cents per minute and these “Were Rechargeable“.
That’s enough. I just did some editing and deleted 4 pages of Jibber-Jabber. The bottom line is this. If I didn’t say it yet, this Blog will be about me sharing my knowledge and experiences on a variety of subjects and I hope that I’ll be able to help you in some way. Help in the form of Inspiration, Guidance, Instructions or just simple Tips.
Life is just a blink of an eye in the bigger scope of things. When I pass on, my knowledge will come with me. Therefore, while I’m still here, I want to put some of what I’ve learned, onto the Internet, for someone else grab onto. Another reason why I’m talking to you is because my Wife and Grown Kids are tired of hearing me talk about these things.

I’ll keep my pages with my purposeful information, on a more professional level, while my Blog Post may be “Out There”. I just don’t know. I haven’t written one yet. I’ll have something up by the time you read this though.
Besides the issues that I have with Procrastination, and Staying busy doing nothing, I also have issues with saying goodbye. So I’ll just say, thank you for reading this thing and let me know what you think about it ( I’m afraid if I read it again, I’m gonna change something).
